Where are the automotive ball bearings?

In automobiles, the most frequently used ball bearings are ball bearings, also called ball bearings. Ball bearings mainly include four basic components: rolling elements, inner rings, outer rings and cages. The rolling body, outer ring and inner ring are usually made of high chromium steel, and the rolling body is installed in the middle of the inner steel ring and the outer steel ring, and can rotate while bearing a large load. Ball bearings have small rotational frictional resistance, and at the same rotational speed, the temperature due to friction will be relatively low. For example, self-aligning ball bearings, deep groove ball bearings, and thrust spherical roller bearings are all ball bearings.

The needle roller bearing is also an essential bearing part of the truck. It is a roller bearing with cylindrical rollers. Compared with its diameter, the rollers are thin and long. Such rollers are called needle rollers. Despite their small cross-section, the bearings have a high load-carrying capacity and are therefore particularly suitable for applications where radial space is limited. Included in double row tapered roller bearings, thrust needle roller bearings also belong to the category of needle roller bearings.
